It is Vietnam’s oldest university, constructed in 1076. The temple stretches over five courtyards including beautiful gardens, walls inscribed with the names of scholars, several altars and a museum. This temple and its lake even appear on Vietnamese currency.


The next astounding thing is the ‘Thang Long Water Puppet Theater’, a tradition that has been carried on by generations since the 10 century. The show appeals to all age groups are charming, picaresque entertainments accompanied by a traditional Vietnamese pit orchestra.


After the heavy dose of art, culture and literature Vietnam also offers some adrenaline rush. Experience an all day sailing adventure to Hai Phong and Halong Bay. The famous Bay Of Descending Dragons is a gem of a destination. Landscaped by nature with huge limestone karsts, it is also the UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site that contains some 1,600 islands and islets.
