Happy World Tourism Day

Travel is enrichment for soul; Happy World Tourism Day!

World Tourism DayA small bird when unborn thinks the egg is his world. When hatched thinks the nest is his world; but it is when he learns to soar in the wide skies, his definition of world completely changes. Travel broadens our horizons and opportunities. Travel nourishes our mind and soul.

It is not a luxury for the select few; in fact it is the passion and sole reason to live for many. Bring back the romance and adventure in your life; bring back the life in your days. Tours for U urges you to take that step out of the door and taste this world. And it does so by designing unique tour plans all over the South East Asia.

27th September has been celebrated as the world tourism day all over the world since 1980 as in 1970 this was the day when the Statutes of the UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) were adopted. Every year a new country is selected as a host and to partner UNWTO in the celebration. Some of the privileged nations have been Turkey, in 1997, China in 2003, 2006 in Europe; 2007 in South Asia; 2008 in the Americas; 2009 in Africa and 2011 in the Middle East.

World Tourism DayThere is also a certain theme assigned to the celebrations. This year the theme accentuates the role of tourism in water conservation and access; and highlight current actions taken by the tourism industry to contribute to a more sustainable water future, and challenges faced. This year the host country is Mexico.  What better time to pick up that backpack, put on the best boots and don that cowboy hat.

Hence on the occasion of world tourism day we urge you to obey the words of Great St. Augustine and set foot to travel with ToursForU.com.  The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page! Happy World Tourism Day!
